Sig fig help please easy points?

my midterm is tomorrow, how do you know whether to take the largest sig fig or take the number of sig figs farthest to the right. in other words, is 9(15) 135 with two sigfigs? so 140? or nother example, is 34.7+1=36 or what? help please
