Christians, are we still bound to abide by the Ten Commandments?

There are even non-Christians who try to follow the basic ones, mate. Like "Do not commit murder", "Do not steal", "Do not commit adultery", etc...But yes Christians are bound to them, but they still break them. They just have to ask God's forgiveness and they'll be forgiven without question. People don't HAVE to take time to learn them, but it is a good idea. And they shouldn't be used to judge the lives of others: they should be used to help the lives of others.
