HELP! f(x)=x^2+2x-8 find vertex, axis, symmetry y-intercept x intercept domain and range?

ughhhhh i hate algebra...i will never use any of this **** after i leave high school...i wanna be a lawyer y da fuc i needa know dis!!! i might have a client that doesnt know algebra and needs to know it to avoid going to jail...like that'll ever happen lol most of high school is so pointless UGH!!!!!
